JV Certificate Program (Agreements Course Material Reviewers)

Volunteer Position: JV Certificate Program (Agreements Course Material Reviewers)
Details: 2-3 Volunteers are required to assist the JV Certificate Program - Agreements Course Coordinator to:
  • review/edit or update JV Agreements course materials, as needed
  • write exam questions, and
  • help the instructor with queries raised
All tasks can be done through email.
Amount of time required: Annual commitment (time required varies depending on the nature of the task); Average of ~2-4 hours/month.
Training/Experience: Delivery skill set: In order to be successful in this position you will require the following:

10+ years' experience; OR 5+ years' experience with completion of the Certificate Program
Other: Volunteering for this portfolio means you must be able to work in a confidential setting. You will not be allowed to see any exam content if you are a contributor without the Certificate.

**If found to have shared course content or exams – there will be consequences including, but not limited to, revocation of your membership with PJVA.**

JV Administration Course Instructor

Position: Instructor - Joint Venture Administration - PJVA Certificate Program
Details: A highly motivated and experienced individual is required to Audit the Joint Venture Administration course within the PJVA Certificate Program, with the goal of instructing the course in the future.
Time Commitment: Tuesday and Thursday - 4:30 to 6:30 (8 sessions)
March 6 to March 22, 2018
Qualifications: The successful candidate will have the following:
  • Expert understanding of Joint Venture Administration and contracts, which includes:
    • Business communication
    • Operated and Non-Operated Administration
    • Operating Procedures for CO&Os and Units
    • Service Agreements
    • Production Flow
    • Management of Exhibit/Appendix Revisions,
    • Management of Mail Ballots and AFEs
    • Management of Agreement execution
    • the A&D Process
  • Experience mentoring, teaching or supervising
  • Must be comfortable talking in front of a group
  • Completion of the PJVA Certificate Program or 10+ years’ experience as a JV Administrator as well as 5+ years experience as a JV Contract Analyst.
Other: Candidate may be required to:
  • Create class exercises
