Oil Market Fundamentals and the WTI to Heavy Price Differentials
Martin King, First Energy Capital

We all see daily that our Canadian crude price is suffering as a result of pipeline capacity issues. What exactly is involved in all this? How does capacity in pipelines affect the price?

Our February luncheon guest speaker will answer these and other topical questions on oil market fundamentals.

Martin King was born and raised in Calgary, and graduated the University of Calgary with a Master's Degree in Economics.

He has worked as an economist at the Bank of Canada in Ottawa, the National Energy Energy Board in Calgary, and is currently Vice-President, Institutional Research at First Energy Capital where he is responsible for the analysis, modelling, and price forecasts of the crude oil and natural gas market.
