Bakken and Lower Shaunavon Resource Plays
Anthony Baldwin, Crescent Point

Our April luncheon expands upon the recent theme of exploring new oil and gas plays in the Western Canadian Sedimentary Basin. April's topic deals with the evolution of the Bakken light oil resource play and touches upon the emerging Lower Shaunavon medium oil resource play, both of which are in Saskatchewan. Our presenter is Anthony Baldwin, a member of Crescent Point Energy Corp.'s investor relations department. Crescent Point is an intermediate oil and gas producer that has been a forerunner in consolidating and developing the Bakken play since 2006. During 2009, Crescent Point also consolidated the Lower Shaunavon play. The company’s development of the area is now well underway. Mr. Baldwin’s presentation will include geologic background, economics and infrastructure development in both the Bakken and Lower Shaunavon plays.

Prior to joining the investor relations department, Mr. Baldwin worked as the negotiating Mineral Landman for Crescent Point’s Shaunavon area. Since joining the company in 2006, he has been actively involved in executing Crescent Point’s acquisition strategy on numerous transactions while working as a part of the company’s various asset teams. Mr. Baldwin holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Petroleum Land Management from the University of Calgary and is an active member in the Canadian Association of Petroleum Landmen.
