October 2010 Kitimat LNG Project Bill Jackson - Apache Canada With the current over supply of natural gas in North America, producers need to look for alternate markets for their natural gas production. Apache Canada and its partner have proposed the Kitimat LNG project which will see Canadian gas liquefied and transported to markets outside North America. Bill Jackson, a professional engineer, has more than 40 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, both domestic and international, in both the public and private sectors. Bill is currently Manager of Public and Government Affairs with Apache Canada and has held several other positions with Apache during his 10 year service including Manager, Joint Venture and Manager, Midstream Projects. Bill's expertise is in project development and joint ventures and, more recently, public and government affairs. In his career Bill has also been with the National Energy Board, Imperial Oil, Dome Petroleum, Amoco Canada, Shell Canada, Norcen Energy Resources and Calvalley Petroleum in various roles. |
